============================================================================= ========= WORKSHOP: 18th Atelier PARI/GP 2023 in Marseilles ================= ============================================================================= This year the PARI/GP Atelier is a part of the COUNT conference at CIRM, Marseilles, France from February 27th to March 3rd, 2023. Preregistration is open until December 1st at https://conferences.cirm-math.fr/2805.html See the website and the announcement below for details about COUNT. Atelier Website: https://pari.math.u-bordeaux.fr/Events/PARI2023/ Organizers Bill Allombert Karim Belabas Aurel Page The Atelier is open to all arithmeticians with an interest for explicit computations. No previous expertise with PARI/GP is expected, anyone interested is welcome! Some events: (1) Short (mathematically oriented) status reports on the current development projects. (2) Tutorial sessions. (3) Brainstorming sessions, to spell out and discuss ideas about the system development: new features, new algorithms, improving old implementations, bug fixes, extensions to GP syntax, documentation overhaul ... (4) Hacking sessions: inspired by the problems suggested by the COUNT conference, but also bring your own problems! Bill, Karim and Aurel =============== Announcement for the COUNT conference ====================== Dear all, We are very pleased to announce the conference COUNT, COmputations and their Uses in Number Theory, that will take place at CIRM, France, February 27th - March 3rd: https://conferences.cirm-math.fr/2805.html The conference will be devoted to explicit and computational methods in number theory and arithmetic geometry in a broad sense. The format will include scientific talks as well as time for informal collaboration and for coding projects related to PARI/GP, SageMath, Magma, OSCAR or the L-Functions and Modular Forms Database. Some support funding is available, the deadline for the pre-registration is December 1st. Best regards, and looking forward to seeing you at COUNT On behalf of the organising committee. -- Bill Allombert Ingénieur en calcul scientifique ❄ CNRS/IMB UMR 5251
