Bill wrote about README-git; however, it does not mention any answer
to my question. These are also (of course!) not very helpful:

However, from THIS one

> Version Control: http://pari.math.u-bordeaux1.fr/git.html

one can eventually reach (with some URL editing) the answer to my
question: something like

  http://pari.math.u-bordeaux1.fr/cgi-bin/gitweb.cgi?p=pari.git;a=blob;f=src/language/forprime.c#l578

(Note that to “freeze” the version, it seems that one should go to the
directory (from the last blue line in the header), then back to
forprime.c. — And then “back to the selected line”…)

… Although: I cannot find how to enable the syntex highlighting…

And for that, I do not even understand what you meant:

Anyway: a lot of thanks!
